The point is here is you don't let the dog succeed at failing to give you a proper Tuck Sit.
Instead, using Week 2 Left Turn mechanics, should the dog start to 'flare' you immediately do a modified Left Turn into the dog until you can see the dog will do the correct Tuck Sit.
Then praise.
This will be good for me and Cosmo because he does like to flare sometimes when he sits.
ReplyDeleteEvery new student has this challenge, Karen. It's because the angle of the Sit Correction leash pressure is often diagonal, in front of their knees instead of upward, following the left pant seam. That's what makes the difference, the leash angle pressure.
